DBL Property was engaged by Orica Limited to investigate opportunities for an underutilised compensatory flood basin in Banksmeadow for future development.  The site was zoned General Industrial and was approximately 4 hectares but, was fully inundated during the design flood event. DBL Property developed a concept and then managed a team and process on behalf of Orica to deck the basin and deliver approval for two large warehouses totalling approximately 21,000m2 of GFA.

DBL Property then worked with the Orica sales team to advance the opportunity to market in what is a highly sought after industrial location near Port Botany.

The sales process was highly successful delivering a spectacular return for Orica on what was an unused piece of land.
